June 25 ’24 – Sasaki and Miyano

I love love love this anime! Today’s queer Anime is “Sasaki and Miyano”. This was one of my first queer animes I ever watched! I have probably rewatched this one about 10 times since it came out. I found clips on TikTok when the dub first released, and I ran to TV and watched it all in one sitting! I believe there are only 13 episodes and one of them being an OVA side story episode. There has since been a movie that has released but I have yet to watch it since it’s not dubbed and I’m so disappointed that it hasn’t been yet. I have read the first four volumes in the Manga, but I have a hard time reading those for some reason, but I do plan on finishing at some point because I don’t think there will be a season two. However, I believe there is a spin off about two of the characters in the Anime and they are also queer so I’m excited for that if it actually happens. I absolutely love the English voice actor for Sasaki, and he performs it perfectly. I also just really love the animation and graphics they used throughout the show its really beautiful and paired with the music it’s just a great Anime all together!
